Yummy Low Carb Alfredo Sauce

Yesterday was a total bust on meals. Husband ate out two meals for work and I had eggs. Y'all know I love my eggs. So I'll give you a good Friday dish, low carb Alfredo Sauce. This is an easy sauce to make and you can put it on top of chicken, shrimp, pork loin, veggies or even steak. Or you can just stand over the pan and eat it with a spoon like I do when I'm "testing" the seasoning.

You do what??

Alfredo Sauce

1 stick of salted butter
2 cups of heavy cream
Crushed Garlic or garlic powder
Onion powder
Black pepper-Course ground is best
1/3-1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.

Melt the butter in a sauce pan and mix in 1 Tablespoon of crushed garlic. Add the cream and stir. Add 1 teaspoon of onion powder and 1 Tablespoon of black pepper. Stir and simmer. Continue to add spices until desired flavor is met. It will start to thicken over 15 to 20 minutes, but stir frequently so it does not burn. If you plan on eating all of the sauce, add in the Parmesan cheese. If you will be reheating the sauce for leftovers, don't add the parmesan cheese because it will cause the sauce to separate and become chunky. Wait to add it until plated (sprinkled on top gives the same flavor).

Happy Weekend!
